★★★★★ Pioneered underwater repair since 1997LIC CPC#1461444

Fixed.
Without draining.

We developed our underwater crack-injection technology in 1997 — when the rest of the industry was still insisting every shell crack required a full drain-and-replace. Three decades of proof later, it's still the differentiator that defines our work.

The Old Way vs. The Right Way

Two ways to fix
a shell crack.
Only one makes sense.

When another company quotes you a shell crack repair, they'll almost always quote the invasive version. It's easier for them. But it's a lot worse for you. Here's the comparison.

Industry Default

Drain, jackhammer, re-plaster

  • Pool drained — takes a full day and wastes thousands of gallons
  • Deck damaged by heavy equipment and jackhammers
  • Plaster around crack chipped out — sometimes entire surface
  • Hydrostatic lift risk if water table is high (Florida problem)
  • Pool out of service 1–3 weeks
  • Cost: $3,500–$15,000+ depending on scope
  • Warranty: typically 30–90 days, verbal
Our Underwater Method

Dive, inject, done

  • Pool stays full — no drain, no wasted water
  • Zero deck damage, zero landscape disruption
  • Surface finish untouched — patch is nearly invisible
  • No hydrostatic lift risk whatsoever
  • Pool back in service same day or next day
  • Cost: typically 50–70% less than drain-and-replace
  • Warranty: 3 years, in writing
How It Works

The underwater
injection process.

A certified diver enters the full pool with specialist equipment and a two-part hydrophilic sealant. The process takes between 90 minutes and 6 hours depending on crack length and complexity.

Step 01

Locate & mark

Diver maps the full length of the crack or separation, identifies the worst point, and marks the injection entry locations.

Step 02

Prep surface

The crack face is cleaned and chased with a diver-operated tool to create the channel for the sealant to bond in.

Step 03

Inject sealant

Two-part hydrophilic polyurethane injected under pressure. The sealant foams on contact with water, expanding to fill the crack completely.

Step 04

Cure & test

Sealant cures in 24 hours. Post-repair water-loss test confirms the crack is sealed. 3-year written warranty starts on completion.

What We Repair Underwater

Six types of underwater
repair work.

Not every pool leak needs a drain-and-replace. In 35+ years of specialist work, we've expanded the underwater repair toolkit to cover the vast majority of pool and spa leaks.

Shell cracks

Horizontal, vertical, and hairline cracks in gunite, plaster, and fiberglass shells. Injected and sealed with the pool full.

Floor cracks

Pool floor separations, including at the deep-end transition and around main drains. Specialized diver injection.

Beam cracks

Horizontal beam cracks at the tile line — common in older pools. Repair preserves the waterline tile.

Tile-line separation

Waterline tile that's pulling away from the beam. Injected with structural sealant behind the tile, no tile removal.

Skimmer niche

Cracks at the skimmer throat where the bond beam meets the skimmer. Leading cause of slow pool leaks.

Light niche

Light niches leak at the conduit penetration and at the niche-to-shell seam. Both repairable underwater.

The Innovation Behind Every Repair

Our underwater repairs
use materials we formulated.

The reason we can offer 3-year written warranties on structural work — while most contractors offer 90 days — is that we don't use stock repair materials. After 35+ years of in-house R&D, our underwater crack injection uses four proprietary formulations unavailable anywhere else.

40°F
Advanced Epoxy™

Cures in water as cold as 40°F. Year-round Florida repair capability — while stock epoxies fail below 60°F.

Inert
Advanced Acrylic™

Does not decompose in any pool chemistry. Backbone of our Deck-Saver™ internal pipe repair — no deck demolition needed.

600%+
Advanced Silicone™

Elongation rating over 600% — triple stock silicone. Powers our Keyed Gasket-way™ for expanding/contracting cracks.

20–30×
Advanced Polyurethane™

Expands 20-30× original volume after injection. Core of our Tile-Saver™ method — saves $20K+ tile-line replacement.

Patented
US 7,717,137 B2

Deck-Saver™ IPR is patented — and we're the only company in the world that offers it.

Plus two more proprietary methods: Keyed Gasket-way™ (expanding-crack repair) and Tile-Saver™ (separated tile-line repair). None available from any other contractor — because they weren't invented there. See the innovation story →
