These terms govern your use of the Advanced Leak Detection website and the services we provide. Hiring us or requesting a quote means you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain language and kept them short. Your signed service agreement may include additional terms that control over these.
Services we provide.
Advanced Leak Detection, Inc. provides pool and spa leak detection, underwater crack injection, plumbing leak repair, pool inspection, and related services across our Florida service regions. We are a State Certified Pool Contractor (CPC#1461444).
Quotes & estimates.
Quotes are provided based on information you share with us about your pool or property. On-site inspection may reveal conditions that affect the quoted price. Material changes to the estimate will always be communicated in writing and require your approval before work proceeds.
Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Payment terms.
Residential payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept credit card, debit card, check, and ACH transfer. Commercial clients with signed service agreements follow the billing terms specified in that agreement (typically Net 30).
Unpaid balances over 60 days past due may be assessed a late fee of 1.5% per month. Collection activity begins after 90 days.
Warranties.
Our three-tier warranty program is delivered in writing with each service invoice:
- 60-day detection warranty — diagnostic accuracy
- 2-year minor repair warranty — on-spot repairs
- 3-year major repair warranty — structural and plumbing repairs
Full warranty terms are available on the Warranties page. The specific written warranty delivered with your invoice controls over any general statements made here or elsewhere on this website.
Warranty exclusions
Warranties do not cover: damage caused by freeze, earth movement, or natural disaster after the service date; damage caused by third-party work that alters the repaired area; damage caused by chemical imbalance or improper water chemistry; new issues arising at locations different from the original repair; wear-and-tear on consumable components (o-rings, gaskets).
Access & site conditions.
You agree to provide safe and lawful access to the pool and equipment during the scheduled appointment. For commercial properties, keys, access codes, or escort must be coordinated in advance. Animals should be secured. Work areas should be free of obvious hazards.
Limitation of liability.
Our total liability for any single claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of water, chemical costs, secondary property damage, or loss of use of the pool. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
Dispute resolution.
We always prefer to resolve issues directly and quickly. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be resolved under Florida law, in the courts of the county in which our Merritt Island headquarters is located (Brevard County), or by binding arbitration if both parties agree.
Website use.

Changes to these terms.
We may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after such updates constitutes acceptance.
